The sporting clays range at North River Retreat is a welcome addition! The range contains 5 shooting stations and 5 mobile traps (clay pigeon launchers) placed at different locations. Clay pigeons are released by remote control, providing an opportunity to shoot targets flying at a wide variety of distances and angles. After shooting from the stations, clients are encouraged to move to other areas of the range for even more challenging shots. It's easy to go through a box of shells with targets coming straight at you and from behind at the same time!

Families or small groups of friends are welcome to book the NRR range for a morning or afternoon shoot. Whether you're a expert or a beginner to the sport, sporting clays is great fun year-round! We have shotguns and safety equipment available for up to five clients at no charge.

The range overlooks the North River Valley, and the view is breathtaking! Half the fun is getting to the range in the NRR Kawasaki Mule. Come out and give it a try!
