Fish for trout, bass and bream in a pond near the cabin - no license required! The North River also offers good fishing for clients who purchase fishing licenses.

Several trails traverse the property. We'll be happy to guide you while hiking, pointing out areas of interest and local history.

We have a wonderful primitive campground near the North River that is a perfect setting for family reunions, Boy Scouts or other groups. It is situated in a grove of white oaks that provide shade and privacy. There is a small pond at the campsite that contains small bass, and a larger pond for fishing is a short walking distance away. To ensure privacy, we rent the campsite to only one family or group at a time. We provide an awning, a table and chairs, wash water in 5 gallon containers and firewood. A clean outhouse is adjacent to the campsite. There are no hookups for electric or sewage.
