Fish for trout, bass and bream in a pond near the cabin - no license required! The North River also offers good fishing for clients who purchase fishing licenses.

CAMPING AND HIKING!

We have a wonderful primitive campground near the North River that is a perfect setting for family reunions, Boy Scouts or other groups. It is situated in a grove of white oaks that provide shade and privacy. There is a small pond at the campsite that contains small bass, and a larger pond for trout fishing is a short walking distance away. To ensure privacy, we rent the campsite to only one family or group at a time. 

We provide a meal preparation area with 2 foldout tables and a canopy, 2 picnic tables with canopies, a beautiful firepit, chairs,  containers of wash water, and firewood. A clean outhouse is adjacent to the campsite.    

Several trails traverse the property. We'll be happy to guide you while hiking, pointing out areas of interest and local history.
